Creating Spaces Where People and Organizations Can Flourish

I grew up in Finland in a home where community was treasured and doors were always open. That early experience formed the way I see the world: people thrive when they’re supported, and communities thrive when they’re connected. Today, I live in the greater Seattle area with my husband, our three children, and our two golden retrievers—still committed to creating spaces where people feel safe to grow.

My work sits at the intersection of leadership, community, and practical systems. With a background in social sciences (social work) and years of cross‑cultural ministry experience in Finland, Germany, and the U.S., I help individuals, churches, and organizations—faith‑based or not—navigate growth and change with clarity, courage, and compassion. I care deeply about healthy leadership, sustainable rhythms, and structures that actually support the people they’re meant to serve.

Across every setting, I draw from my own journey of resilience, adaptability, and building belonging in many places and cultures. I walk alongside leaders and teams who want to grow in ways that are life‑giving and realistic, offering both grounded tools and a steady presence.

If you’re looking for encouragement and a trusted companion as you move into your next chapter, I’d be honored to walk with you.

What people are saying…

Working with Marjaana was a fabulous experience. She is a strong leader and has excellent listening skills. She has a beautiful way of listening and restating what was said in an even more powerful way. Such a great experience!
